The State Of The Nursing Workforce in New Jersey - A Report by Linda Flynn (PDF)

The Center was established by legislation on December 12, 2002. The Center is supported by a public/private partnership between the State of New Jersey and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.


 

The 2007 National Conference of state Nursing Workforce Centers was held on June 7-8, 2007 in San Francisco, hosted by the California Institute of Nursing and Health Care. New Jersey's Executive Director, Geri L. Dickson, moderated a National Panel on Issues and Innovations in Nursing Education.

Vision
The New Jersey Collaborating Center for Nursing is a primary source for data-based evidence to formulate reliable health policy that has a positive impact on nursing care, nursing education, and patient outcomes.  The Center serves as a catalyst for the implementation of innovative practice and education models.
